i had a learning journey. it was a good one, i had lots of time in between sites to think.
first off, we went to the Armenien CHURCH OF ST GREGORY THE ILLUMINATOR. whoa that's a mouthful- 12 syllables! snorts, betcha you're counting now right :D [no worries, supercalifragilisticexpealidocious is not to be outdone- 14 syllables! and that's just one word.]
wokay, anywaay.. i didn't know the armeniens had their own pope and all. the catholic church doesn't recognize them as part of, well, the roman catholic church. its funny- to paraphrase dan: we all acknowledge the same God, why the division? hmm, according to the nice guy who gave us a talk, the armeniens are the oldest christian denomination. they celebrated 1700 years of religion like, oooh. i can't remember. umm, less than a decade ago?
ha, what the guy neglected to mention was- heh heh. (we're the bomb.) AD? yeah, that's short for Anno Domini- latin for "In the Year of the Lord". we started it (: i didn't like the way he made it seem as if.. oh, they're the best. pfft, respect much?
oh oh! then we saw this busload of korean guys. hahaha, for a scary moment, i thought Princess Hours was getting to me. i was like, huh?! since when do busloads of korean guys go zooming around singapore. then i realised they were stopping outside the korean church. heh heh. whoo. which reminds me- lu is cute and xin is hot :DDDD honestly.
then we went to the Sikh temple, and the sultan mosque and the shuang lin temple. wow. the sikh temple has the softest carpet. its like, wheeee *melts into the carpet* i bought a choker at kampong glam :D aaand, well. that's about it. haven't gotten my dinosaur >:(
hmm, i think i'll dedicate a post to the Princess Hours later. maybe tomorrow. eyecandy?
