e- learning is super over-rated :(
the only thing good about it is that we get to stay home. but even then there are SO MANY GAZILLION DISTRACTIONS!
aw poo.

on the bright side, i discovered that kid's central shows Sesame Street at 12 noon
and what a lovely surprise!:)) surfed channels and found Lang Lang on sesame street! with Oscar and the Grouch Symphony. aw shucks, they're so cute.
lang lang was auditioning for a role in the symphony. then he played some piece and this georgeous piece by liszt. that guy is so incredibly talented, i bet he can make mary had a little lamb sound like chamber music; all by himself. honest.

sesame street is so darn lame. yesterday's fruit of the day was the banana.
elmo interviewed a banana.
a monkey's just come into the picture. then the banana starts shifting around and looking nervous. can bananas even look nervous? anyway-

banana: look kid. you ever seen a banana split?
elmo: yes. elmo has.
banana: well, you're about to see one again.
then he runs off, cos the monkey starts to chase him.
:D

then today. the Count gonna watch tv. so he asks
The Count: shall we watch 6 feet under?
yes! we shall.
whoa. deep stuff man! 6 feet under, so adult.
so the tv comes on, and then this announcer says in a deep scary voice
"Presenting 6 FEET UNDER"
then they show this tree on a hill, muted dull colours, sinister looking and all.
then...

suddenly this checkered red tablecloth comes into view.
then this shrill monster mommy screams:
KIDS!! GET YOUR FEET UNDER THE TABLE NOW!!
there's grumbling and all the "aw man"s, then 6 furry monster feet come into view.

The Count: ahhh. SIX FEET UNDER.. the table

watching sesame street makes me feel happy :)
but i wish they'd show the aliens and the bellhop one. and the playdoh one!
aw shucks.
i wanna be 5 again.
no secondary school.
no crummy e-learning.
no brother yet.
no stress.
shoot.
I WANT CAPTAIN PLANET AND LITTLE LULU AND SCOOBY DOO AND THE ALIENS AND OSCAR AND SLIMY AND SNUFFALUFAGUS AND TELLY AND ERNIE AND BERT AND GROVER.
i even miss that stupid pairie-don.
:(
