had my FIRST session of PA (pastoral attachment)yesterday. apparently, all we had to do was to tell the squirts to shut up and listen to the speaker. BUT of course, i never said it too rudely. IN FACT, i didn't dare at all.. like i told nic: little kids are like hamsters. the smaller they are, the more vicious they get. sheesh. so i sat there and watched this group of girls yak their heads off. BUT, i think i might be able to connect with them :) before everything, linda was standing there and lookin mean and all. i thought she came to check on us!!turns out she came to tell them bout the kuching trip this year, and how "we must not be selfish..must help the less fortunate.." she was SO enthu! she practically shouted. "hello KIDS!" then all the small cute boys said right back- "byebye". ooh, i like them already ;)
apart from the kids, the people in charge are NICE. the first IC i met was olga,for someone so old, she's damn lame! -grins- found a friend already; auntie lucy is like allold-ladyish cute.and my group members are friendly! samantha, jesslyn, nicholas and nicole. hmm, the others all slackers, they din come . but they can be slackers, cos our group feels.. well.. cosier :)
then we had to go and write reflections in the cathechist office. its super nice now! its got this semi-loft thing, then these funkaye colourful sofas and bean-bags underneath, with a mod-lookin table in the centre.I LOVE IT!all the sec threes hang around till or after their attachments or sit around if they're writing reflections. so everybody's shouting all over the place and auntie agatha, linda and the rest are also rushing here and there. its super lively! man, i wanna be a cathechist toooooo.. shall volunteer next year.
got my list for the easter bazaar as well. yeah, i got balloons! what i wanted^-^ only thing is... i hardly noe anyone there. only nic. arhhh, i need to widen my social circle. i think there ARE people from our class. what's amanda's surname??? and that beng who used to wear the same shirt every week last year. think friendly thoughts...
rosemarie and kelly get to man the TATTOOS stall! how cooool is that??! i want something scary. shall try and bribe a tattoo outta them. yeeahhh, i'll come to school with this GARGANTUANed- hardy- lookin thing. whoar, freak the DM out.
-rubs hands- i can't WAIT! got our first balloon making session the coming sunday.i love sec three cat class! oh, and have i mentioned i love the cathechist office? hahahaha..i feel damn religious.
